They have therefore called on President John Mahama to dismiss him immediately.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in a one-on-one interview on UTV on Friday, Eric Adjei insisted that \u201cRandy Abbey is going nowhere.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>He explained that the price cut was a difficult but necessary decision to safeguard the long-term stability of the sector. <\/p>\n<p>He challenged the NPP to present a credible alternative if they believe the reduction was misguided.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Majority caucus in Parliament has also dismissed the Minority\u2019s demands. <\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Food, Agriculture and Cocoa Affairs, Dr Godfred Seidu Jassaw, described the calls as \u201ccompletely unjustified.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you look at what has happened and the reasons for where we are, I think Randy Abbey is doing a lot well and much better to keep the ship sailing.
