The site, which was previously used as office space, has undergone a multimillion-dollar transformation to realign the property for the upscale hotel market, with rooms priced at an average of $300 a night, depending on demand and the time of year.<\/p>\n

Alongside the guest rooms and suites, the hotel features all-day dining and bars, a fully equipped fitness centre, open daily from 5am to 11pm, and extensive meeting and event spaces to tap into the growing conference market.<\/p>\n

With capacity for up to 219 guests, the venue can be divided into four flexible rooms with moveable walls, shifting easily from corporate functions to relaxed social events.<\/p>\n

Radisson RED Auckland general manager Reinout Engel said the opening marks an exciting new chapter for the city.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve designed Radisson Red Auckland to be far more than a place to stay; it\u2019s a creative hub where locals and travellers can plug into the heartbeat of the CBD and feel the city\u2019s culture, colour, and energy from the moment they arrive,\u201d Engel said.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery space has been shaped to spark inspiration, encourage connection, and bring a sense of play back into travel. We\u2019re proud to open our doors and introduce a fresh, dynamic experience to Auckland, one that reflects the spirit of the city and the attitude of Red.\u201d<\/p>\n

Engel has previously opened new locations for the group, including Radisson Red Oslo.<\/p>\n

The biggest drawcard for the hotel, alongside its location, is the soon-to-open rooftop restaurant and bar.<\/p>\n

Featuring New Zealand\u2019s largest outdoor rooftop space, it boasts sweeping open-air views of the Sky Tower, Albert Park and the Waitemat\u0101 Harbour.<\/p>\n

The area will open in the coming months and will become Australasia\u2019s largest outdoor rooftop bar.<\/p>\n

Engel said Auckland was the \u201cnatural choice\u201d for the group\u2019s debut in New Zealand and Australasia.<\/p>\n

Now that the Auckland site is officially open, Radisson has also been able to confirm that a second RED location will be opening in Queenstown.<\/p>\n

Construction on the site is set to commence shortly, expanding the brand\u2019s presence in the New Zealand market.<\/p>\n

The group recently announced two conversion projects in Australia, Radisson Individuals Brisbane and Radisson Canterbury International Melbourne, which are both scheduled to open in mid-2026.<\/p>\n

In Fiji, the Radisson Blu Mirage Resort Fiji, Naisoso Island is currently under construction and represents a major resort development in one of the South Pacific\u2019s most important tourism markets.<\/p>\n

Radisson Hotel Group is rapidly expanding internationally, with more than 1580 hotels in operation and under development in over 100 countries.<\/p>\n
