A father and son hunting for a Mosgiel resident armed with baseball bats allegedly resorted to smashing up the person’s car.<\/p>\n
The 43-year-old and 15-year-old showed up at the victim’s property in Stirling St, Mosgiel at about 8pm last night with a third person, Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond said.<\/p>\n
They went into the home but could not locate the person they were looking for.<\/p>\n
Instead, they headed back outside and the father and son allegedly started to smash up the victim’s car with their bats.<\/p>\n
Police were called and arrested the pair.<\/p>\n
Both were charged with wilful damage and would appear in Dunedin District Court, and Dunedin Youth Court at a later date.<\/p>\n
