\u2018Bridge\u2019 Are Befuddled By Eric\u2019s Stress Level<\/p>\n
When Donna pops into the Forrester CEO\u2019s office, she assures Ridge and Brooke that there\u2019s nothing to worry about where Eric is concerned. But there is, it\u2019s heavily foreshadowed. Bill is hammering home the fact that everyone at Spencer is accountable \u2014 even a GOAT like Eric. Things go from bad to worse when some models come in wearing the patriarch\u2019s designs. These are his, Eric confirms, but they\u2019re all wrong.<\/p>\n

B&B stars talk trouble for Carter\/Daphne<\/a><\/p>\n At Forrester, Donna points out that if Eric is stressed out, maybe it has something to do with his forced retirement. \u201cHe\u2019s trying to start something new\u2026 a different future,\u201d she hints. Alas, just then, that future isn\u2019t looking too terribly bright. Though Eric\u2019s decisions are sound, the execution of his designs is poor. Bill doesn\u2019t even seem to understand that one silk is not the same as the next. \u201cYou can\u2019t compromise quality,\u201d Eric tells Katie. \u201cWe\u2019re gonna have to delay this launch.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cDelay?!?\u201d Bill barks. \u201cThat\u2019s not happening.\u201d Honestly, the way Bill is acting, Eric might as well be working for the old knockoff Spectra Creations. Why is it more important for Logan to deliver fast than to show memorably well? (Make it make sense!)<\/p>\n Bill Acts Like Being a Jerk Is Always in Style<\/p>\n Thankfully, Katie is more interested in hearing what Eric has to say than her husband. Why she puts up with him being such a [bleep]hole to her designer and friend, I can\u2019t image. Bill is way outta line and seems more interested in getting Logan launched than launched right.<\/p>\n When Donna arrives at Spencer, she immediately senses that Eric is stressed. \u201cDid Bill do something,\u201d she asks, \u201cor is it the job?\u201d I wanted to Eric to say, \u201cBill! 100-percent Bill!\u201d But nah. He didn\u2019t. Alone with Katie, Bill further puts his foot in his mouth and floats the idea that for Eric, \u201cthis is about putting sonny boy in his place.\u201d Since when is sticking it to Ridge something that Bill doesn\u2019t love\u00a0the notion of?!?<\/p>\n More: Rebecca Budig talks Deacon and *Brooke*<\/a><\/p>\n When Bill gets done mansplaining business to Katie, she suggests that he take it down a notch. In response? He takes it a couple more. Not a good look on you, Bill.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n \u2018What Ever Happened to Doctor\/Patient Confidentiality?\u2019<\/p>\n Back at Forrester, Ridge suddenly regrets kicking Eric to the curb. Across town, that quickly, Eric and Donna are home. (What a light traffic day.) She\u2019s freaked out about what Brooke and Ridge told her and worries that her honey bear is just going to work himself into an early grave.<\/p>\n More: Bold & Beautiful stars\u2019 real-life loves [PHOTOS]<\/a><\/p>\n Eric says that he wants to prove that age is just a number and he still has it. On the flip side, he admits that he\u2019s bitten off more than he can chew. The designs he just saw were such a disappointment. So much for Katie\u2019s \u201camazing\u201d understanding of the fashion biz. When did she decide that Bill would be calling the shots, not her?<\/p>\n Regrets, Ridge Has Had a Few<\/p>\n In the episode\u2019s final moments, Bill insists that he\u2019s not trying to be a jerk. #fail Thankfully, Katie stands up for herself and points out that Logan is her reputation on the line. And \u201cEric\u2019s family,\u201d she adds. \u201cI care about him.\u201d Speaking truth to power, she reminds Bill that Eric\u2019s under a ton of pressure. \u201cAnd he\u2019s keeping this secret\u2026 I\u2019m just not sure it\u2019s good for him.\u201d<\/p>\n At Forrester, Ridge whines that he tries to make plans with his dad, but he\u2019s always too busy. Ridge even goes so far as to say it\u2019s amazing to have someone believe in him as much as Eric does. If only Ridge had had that much belief in his father! Guess those glasses are only good for hindsight, eh?<\/p>\n Eric Admits He Wishes He Was Still at Forrester<\/p>\n Finally, at the Forrester mansion, Donna doesn\u2019t let Eric explain how he feels, she tells him how he feels. Not sure how good that is for his stress levels! When at last she allows him to speak, he says he\u2019s glad to be designing again\u2026 and respected\u2026 But \u201cthe only thing I really know is I\u2019d be happier if I was home now or at Forrester with Ridge and the grandkids.\u201d<\/p>\n Really? So much for sticking it to the guy who put him out to pasture.
