Being one of the first phones with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, it was already a powerful lineup, but the hardware stood out for one big reason \u2013 a display on the back. The Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max both offer a rear-facing display that can serve some added functionality, as well as just making the two phones stand out from the crowd a bit.<\/p>\n<p>But, apparently, Xiaomi isn\u2019t bringing these to Europe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dealabs.com\/magazine\/xiaomi-17-et-17-ultra-configurations-prix-et-date-de-sortie-en-europe-on-vous-devoile-tout-61037\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dealabs reports<\/a> that Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi 17 series in Europe on February 28, just ahead of MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Spain. The standard Xiaomi 17 will start at \u20ac999 for the 12GB\/256GB model, while the Xiaomi 17 Ultra \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mi.com\/global\/discover\/article?id=5825\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">announced in December<\/a> \u2013 will start at \u20ac1,499 for a 16GB\/512GB model.<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/p>\n<p>Neither of the \u201cPro\u201d models will be making their way to Europe, apparently, at least for the time being. The Xiaomi 15 Pro didn\u2019t launch in Europe either, with the later-released MediaTek-powered <a href=\"https:\/\/sovrn.co\/5ec27qr\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Xiaomi 15T Pro <\/a>seeing a wider global launch.
