Asked what he would say directly to Nancy, he added: \u201cWe\u2019re not giving up on you. We\u2019re gonna find you. Just\u2026 stay safe as best you can. We\u2019ll find you.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nanos\u2019 comments came as Savannah made a fresh appeal for her mother\u2019s safe return.<\/p>\n
Savannah posted the clip on Instagram and captioned it: \u201cBring her home. It\u2019s never too late to do the next right thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
She said: \u201cIt\u2019s been two weeks since our mom was taken. And I just wanted to come on and say that we still have hope. And we still believe.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I wanted to say to whoever has her or knows where she is that it\u2019s never too late. And you\u2019re not lost or alone. And it is never too late to do the right thing. And we are here. We believe. And we believe in the essential goodness of every human being.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd it\u2019s never too late.\u201d<\/p>\n
It comes after the sheriff warned it could take \u201cyears\u201d to find Nancy.<\/p>\n
Chris Nanos told the New York Times newspaper: \u201cMaybe it\u2019s an hour from now. Maybe it\u2019s weeks or months or years from now.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut we won\u2019t quit. We\u2019re going to find Nancy. We\u2019re going to find this guy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Authorities have found DNA evidence that doesn\u2019t belong to Nancy or \u201cthose in close contact to her\u201d at her home.<\/p>\n
The PCSD said in a statement on Saturday: \u201cDNA other than Nancy Guthrie\u2019s and those in close contact to her has been collected from the property. Investigators are working to identify who it belongs to. We are not disclosing where that DNA was located.\u201d<\/p>\n
The FBI has also revealed \u201cnew identifying details\u201d about a suspect in Nancy Guthrie\u2019s disappearance.<\/p>\n
In a statement on X, FBI Phoenix said: \u201cToday, the FBI is increasing its reward up to [US]$100,000 for information leading to the location of Nancy Guthrie and\/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.<\/p>\n
\u201cNew identifying details about the suspect in the kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie have been confirmed after a forensic analysis of the doorbell camera footage by the FBI\u2019s Operational Technology Division.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe suspect is described as a male, approximately 5\u20199\u201d-5\u201910\u201d tall, with an average build. In the video, he is wearing a black, 25-litre Ozark Trail Hiker Pack backpack.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe hope this updated description will help concentrate the public tips we are receiving.
