He builds a close mentor relationship with the lifeguards protecting the SoCal community, even offering free wings after a big save.<\/p>\n<p>Chokachi joins previously announced <a class=\"ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm1854386\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Stephen Amell<\/a>, who will star as Hobie Buchannon, the son of original series main character Mitch Buchannon, previously played by <a class=\"ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity\" href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0001327\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">David Hasselhoff<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Per the show\u2019s official logline, Hobie\u2019s world is turned upside down when Charlie, the daughter he never knew, shows up on his doorstep, eager to carry&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u201cBaywatch\u201d alum David Chokachi will rejoin the franchise this fall as the series returns 25 years later.
