The countdown is nearly complete as ITV<\/a> audiences prepare to welcome back Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and KSI to their screens for a fresh series of Britain’s Got Talent.<\/a><\/p>\n

This Saturday (February 21), the programme’s 19th series launches<\/a> as another wave of aspiring acts step into the spotlight.<\/p>\n

With the opportunity to claim a staggering \u00a3250,000 jackpot, alongside a coveted appearance at the Royal Variety Performance, contestants simply need to secure approval from three of the four judges.<\/p>\n

Though they could bypass several rounds entirely and progress straight to the semi-finals should they earn a golden buzzer from either the judging panel or hosts Ant and Dec..<\/p>\n

Prior to the series launch, Amanda revealed her impressions of the newest member of the panel, KSI, reports Belfast Live.<\/a><\/p>\n

KSI formally joined the judging team this year, having made guest appearances in 2025. He took over from Bruno Tonioli, who stepped down owing to diary clashes.<\/p>\n

Asked what the YouTube star contributes to the line-up, Amanda remarked: “He is super cool, really personable. To be honest with you, I feel like I’ve known him for ages.<\/p>\n

“I feel quite protective over him, I don’t know why, a tiny bit mother-y. I think what he brings is that he cuts to the chase, so there’s no waffling. He sort of says exactly what he thinks, which is quick and succinct.”<\/p>\n

Yet, during her conversation about KSI, Amanda couldn’t resist making a playful dig at his music career.<\/p>\n

When questioned if she was an avid fan of his music, she grimaced and smirked, evidently reluctant to respond.<\/p>\n

As the sound effects of crickets were added to the video, the ITV judge conceded: “I have to say, I loved his last single. I did love his last single.”<\/p>\n

Britain’s Got Talent returns to ITV1, ITVX on Saturday February 21 at 7pm.<\/p>\n
