Insurers like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/2025\/04\/17\/business\/ozempic-blue-cross-blue-shield-weight-loss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/2025\/04\/17\/business\/ozempic-blue-cross-blue-shield-weight-loss\/\">Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/2025\/05\/14\/business\/point32health-weight-loss-glp1-harvard-pilgrim-tufts-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bostonglobe.com\/2025\/05\/14\/business\/point32health-weight-loss-glp1-harvard-pilgrim-tufts-health\/\">Point32Health<\/a> said they would stop covering the drugs for many customers, but have given large employers the option of retaining coverage by paying an extra charge in their health plans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph | gutter_20_0\">The Globe is looking to talk to Massachusetts residents who were taking GLP-1 drugs to lose weight and are now facing challenges getting their insurers to cover the medication.
