Auckland police are searching for a man wanted over assault and firearm-related offences who they allege is actively evading arrest.<\/p>\n
John Joseph Paparoa, 52, was also wanted in relation to dishonesty offending, Auckland City District Police said, adding they held concerns for his welfare.<\/p>\n
Police were seeking the public’s assistance to locate Paparoa.<\/p>\n
Anyone who sees the man or knows “where he may be hiding” has been urged to contact police through 105, using the reference number 250131\/8937.<\/p>\n
