rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for both its care home and home care services.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The report said care was personalised and effective at the nursing home, which supports adults of all ages who may be living with dementia, a physical disability or sensory needs.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Inspectors highlighted the staff\u2019s kindness, empathy, and respect, as well as a strong focus on upholding dignity and independence.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Charlotte Chiutare, general manager at Brendoncare Otterbourne Hill, said: &#8220;I\u2019m so proud of all the team.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;The reports for both services demonstrate and echo the hard work, dedication and care that goes in to everything they do on a daily basis, which makes such a difference to so many people\u2019s lives.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;I am extremely grateful to our residents and relatives for their continued support and trust in us.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  In the report, staff were praised for empowering residents to make choices about their daily lives and for using accessible communication tools like pictures and easy-read formats.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Inspectors said: &#8220;People reported feeling safe and reassured, knowing staff responded promptly to urgent needs such as pain management, falls, or distress.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Professionals observed interventions were timely and effective, contributing to positive outcomes and improved quality of life.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  &#8220;Feedback from people and families was regularly sought and acted upon, ensuring services evolved in line with individual preferences.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Risk management was described as &#8220;comprehensive&#8221;, with thorough assessments for conditions such as dementia, Parkinson\u2019s disease, and diabetes.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Medication and infection control practices were also found to be safe and consistent by inspectors.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  The report also highlighted partnerships with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailyecho.co.uk\/education\/education_news\/?ref=au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">education<\/a> providers, nurseries, and children\u2019s services as strengths, supporting the home\u2019s intergenerational projects and promoting community engagement.\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Penny Lamb, Brendoncare\u2019s director of operations, said: &#8220;These \u2018Good\u2019 ratings really reinforce Brendoncare\u2019s long-standing reputation for excellence and its ongoing commitment to delivering the very best standards of care for older people across all its services.&#8221;\n<\/p>\n<p>\n  Families and residents consistently reported that they felt safe, valued, and respected.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Brendoncare&#8217;s Otterbourne Hill received a &#8216;good&#8217;
