Sharing a video montage of treasured childhood memories, David wrote: \u201cHappy 21st birthday to my little boy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe proudest thing that I am of you is the person and man that you have become… kind, considerate and fiercely loyal to your family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last month, Brooklyn Beckham, 26, publicly cut ties with his family, labelling his parents as controlling<\/a>, and accusing them of trying \u201cendlessly\u201d to sabotage his relationship and wedding to wife Nicola Peltz, 31.<\/p>\n

The online chef said his parents\u2019 obsession with keeping up appearances left him with \u201coverwhelming anxiety\u201d, which has \u201cdisappeared\u201d since moving to America to live with his heiress wife\u2019s family.<\/p>\n

\u201cBrand Beckham comes first,\u201d he said, adding that his family prioritised \u201cpublic promotion and endorsements above all else\u201d.<\/p>\n

He continued, expressing his desire for \u201cpeace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family\u201d.<\/p>\n

Cruz appeared to extend an olive branch to Brooklyn<\/a> in an Instagram post last week.<\/p>\n

The singer shared poignant childhood photos of the siblings set to the tune of Billy Joel\u2019s The River of Dreams, which includes the lyrics \u201csomething sacred I lost\u201d.<\/p>\n

Eagle-eyed fans noted Brooklyn has kept his tattoos in honour of his siblings, while covering up one dedicated to his dad<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He reportedly covered the word Dad, which had been written across an anchor on his right upper arm.<\/p>\n

The Sun reported the Beckhams minus Brooklyn also celebrated Cruz\u2019s birthday with a musical-themed event earlier last week at the Maine Mayfair club in London.<\/p>\n

Headlining the party was Beatles tribute band The Bootleg Beatles, whom Cruz joined on stage to play a guitar solo to Something.<\/p>\n

He also took to the stage with his band, The Breakers, who are set to embark on their first tour this week.<\/p>\n
