Image: Supplied <\/p>\n<p>Perkins has revealed plans to compete in the series with backing from Shaw &amp; Partners and Triple Eight, with the car supporting the famed #888.<\/p>\n<p>The Mustang will be run by HMO Customer Racing \u2013 the squad that won three TCR Australia titles fielding Hyundais.<\/p>\n<p>Perkins spent Monday at Sydney Motorsport Park driving the Objective Racing-backed Mustang Supercar during a multi-team ride day.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019ll be behind the wheel of the Mustang Cup machine this evening, taking part in the new one-make category\u2019s pre-season launch and test event.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1021704\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/perkins_mustangcup_2.jpg\" alt=\"Jack Perkins\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1281\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Jack Perkins ready for action.
