{"id":30008,"date":"2025-09-18T17:48:16","date_gmt":"2025-09-18T17:48:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/30008\/"},"modified":"2025-09-18T17:48:16","modified_gmt":"2025-09-18T17:48:16","slug":"arrest-after-man-fatally-shot-in-auckland-last-august","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/nz\/30008\/","title":{"rendered":"Arrest after man fatally shot in Auckland last August"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body-paragraph articleLinkText  [&amp;_p]:tit-sub-xl tit-sub-xl md:[&amp;_p]:d-tit-sub-xl md:d-tit-sub-xl mb-[1.3rem]\">A 23-year-old man has been arrested as part of an investigation into the death of a man found in a vehicle with gunshot wounds in Auckland last August.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-paragraph articleLinkText  lg mb-4\">Police were called around 6.45am on August 19 last year following reports of several gunshots heard on Marvon Downs Ave in Pakuranga Heights. <\/p>\n<p class=\"body-paragraph articleLinkText  lg mb-4\">Tuipulotu Vi, 59, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.1news.co.nz\/2024\/08\/22\/police-name-man-killed-in-pakuranga-heights-shooting\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">found in a vehicle with gunshot wounds<\/a>.
