Cole<\/a> received an overwhelming welcome by his Dreamers in Phoenix, Arizona, while making a pit stop on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/music\/a\/tracewilliamcowen\/j-cole-trunk-sale-tour-charts\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Trunk Sale Tour<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n<p>In cities like Greensboro, Atlanta and Houston, the two-time Grammy winner has met with fans and even picked up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/music\/a\/jaelaniturnerwilliams\/j-cole-picks-up-fans-trunk-sale-tour-fall-off\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a select few<\/a> to listen to his new album, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/music\/a\/dimassanfiorenzo\/j-cole-fall-off-album-retirement\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Fall-Off<\/a>. With the rapper\u2019s old Honda Civic racking up mileage throughout the cross-country trek, Cole ended up at a Phoenix auto shop for a repair on Monday (February 23).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTried to make it to LA before we go back home, the Civic said it had enough and broke on us!\u201d Cole tweeted. \u201cPhoenix, we here now while the car is getting fixed \ud83e\udd1e\ud83c\udffe Gonna mob around the city in the sprinter selling CD\u2019s in the meantime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cole fans immediately pulled up to the shop to greet the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EBzQ5U3mIXs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">\u201cSAFETY\u201d<\/a> artist by erupting into cheers when he emerged from the garage. Before the crowd saw the North Carolina native, they repeated a \u201cJ. Cole!\u201d chant.<\/p>\n<p>One person tweeted that while he wasn\u2019t in town to meet the rapper, he received a call from his father, who worked on Cole\u2019s car. One photo shows Cole posing alongside service workers, while another picture showed a signed copy of The Fall-Off.<\/p>\n<p>Cole has been on his nationwide Trunk Sale Tour since the release of his seventh and possibly final album. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a teenager I had copies of the Fayettenam Bommuh\u2019s album that Nervous gave me to sell,\u201d he tweeted earlier this month. \u201cI used to go up to the gas stations trying to sell the album to strangers \u201cyo you like hip hop??\u201d Was the beginning of the sales pitch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I was working on this album I had the desire to go feel that feeling again, and that\u2019s what I\u2019m about to do.Trunk Sale Tour 26!!
