Well, not quite by accident,\u201d he said on the Graham Norton show last week.<\/p>\n<p>Joan was dining with a food critic who had given his restaurant an unfavorable review, so he recalled: \u201cI said to this critic, \u2018Thanks, but no thanks,\u2019 but Joan was his guest, and so she was furious.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cIt\u2019s hard, though, isn\u2019t it, when you\u2019re under that kind of criticism, when you\u2019re being judged by individuals that know less about food than you. Now, today in the restaurants, everybody\u2019s got a phone.
