Andy Cohen has broken his silence after Lisa Rinna did an unexpected thing with his book.<\/p>\n
The author of The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up interviewed Rinna on the Wednesday, February 25 episode of Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen, where he inquired about why she burnt his book in her fireplace.<\/p>\n
In his 2023 publication, Cohen revealed that she once messaged him \u201cafter midnight saying she\u2019s leaving.\u201d<\/p>\n
He took a step further and published their conversation in which Rinna asked him \u201cif there was a path forward\u201d to continue her journey on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.<\/p>\n
In her book You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It, which came out on February 24, 2026, the 62-year-old American actress admitted that she was reeling with anger after finding out about her late-night chat with Cohen in his book.<\/p>\n
She penned, \u201cWhen anyone gives you a heads-up that you\u2019re in their book, you know you\u2019re f***ed.\u201d<\/p>\n
Strongly disapproving of the inclusion of her \u201cpersonal text messages\u201d in his book, Rinna called it \u201cso shady, so Andy, so Bravo, so unnecessary.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Veronica Mars star \u201cthrew his book in my fireplace and watched it burn gleefully\u201d right after she read those texts because she \u201cwas so mad.\u201d<\/p>\n
However, Cohen, who hosted The Traitors\u2019 end-of-season cast reunion, apologized her when they crossed paths there.<\/p>\n
He confessed, \u201cYou write in the book about \u2026 my publishing a couple of text messages that really pissed you off. Text messages from you that I put in my book Daddy Diaries pissed you off so much that you burned my book in your fireplace.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cI apologize for publishing those texts. \u2026 I\u2019ve had that done to me and I didn\u2019t like it. I had all these reasons for doing it and when I really thought about it, I was like, \u2018Oh wait, I gotta apologize.\u2019 So, I\u2019m sorry!\u201d Cohen explained.<\/p>\n
