While the main celebration takes place in early March each year, additional events and communications continue throughout the year across collaborating groups and participants.<\/p>\n

Stories from the Sea \u2013 An Evening with Steve Hathaway<\/a> will be held at the Mangawhai Golf Club, 6pm-8pm on Tuesday, March 10.<\/p>\n

The event will include behind-the-scenes insights from Hathaway\u2019s filming of some of the world\u2019s most iconic ocean documentaries<\/a>, with footage from his developing documentary on the marlin \u2013 one of the ocean\u2019s most powerful and culturally significant species.<\/p>\n

Hathaway says he is passionate about bringing New Zealand\u2019s underwater story into the wider Kiwi domain. <\/p>\n

Entry is by donation. Tickets are available via Sustainable Kaipara\u2019s Facebook page<\/a>.<\/p>\n
