Continuing his rant against De Niro, Trump also hit out at another high-profile critic, Rosie O\u2019Donnell, who moved to Ireland last year in protest at his re-election but recently confirmed she had been back to the US for a brief visit to her family.<\/p>\n
He continued: \u201cWhen I watched him break down in tears last night, much like a child would do, I realised that he may be even sicker than Crazy Rosie O\u2019Donnell, who is right now in Ireland trying to figure out how to come back into our beautiful United States.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe only difference between De Niro and Rosie is that she is probably somewhat smarter than him, which isn\u2019t saying much.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe good news is that America is now Bigger, Better, Richer, and Stronger than ever before, and it\u2019s driving them absolutely crazy!\u201d<\/p>\n
Trump\u2019s attack came after De Niro expressed his fears for the US under the President\u2019s leadership.<\/p>\n
Speaking on The Best People with Nicole Wallace podcast, he said: \u201cHe\u2019s an idiot. We gotta get rid of him. He\u2019s gonna ruin the country.<\/p>\n
\u201c\u200aI don\u2019t want everybody going around with their MAGA, the American flags, like they\u2019re the only ones. We are Americans too.\u201d<\/p>\n
He later said: \u201cPeople have to resist, resist, resist, resist, resist. That\u2019s the only way.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s no magic. There\u2019s no nothing \u2013 people are not going to go away, even if Trump dies for some reason by having an illness or something. Parts of that movement are still there, and that\u2019s the scary part. It has to be neutralised by the people.\u201d<\/p>\n
