Frank Grillo<\/a> first arrived as a star in the early 2010s with his work opposite Liam Neeson<\/a> in The Grey<\/a>, and he joined the MCU<\/a> a few years later as Brock Rumlow in Captain America: The Winter Soldier<\/a>. Grillo returned to the role twice, first in Captain America: Civil War<\/a> and lastly in Avengers: Endgame<\/a>, but he\u2019s now an active member on the other side of the aisle of comic book storytelling. Grillo stars as Rick Flag Sr., father of Rick Flag Jr. (Joel Kinnaman<\/a>) in James Gunn<\/a>\u2019s DCU<\/a>. He first voiced the character in animation at the end of 2024 with Creature Commandos<\/a> before also reprising the role in live-action first in Superman<\/a> and second in Peacemaker<\/a> Season 2.<\/p>\n

However, just because Grillo is busy with his new role in the DCU doesn\u2019t mean he doesn\u2019t have time to star in hit action movies. A few years ago, Grillo teamed up with The Dark Knight<\/a> veteran Michael Jai White<\/a> for MR-9: Do or Die, an action thriller that follows an elite Bangladeshi spy who teams up with a CIA operative to bring down an international crime organization headed by a ruthless businessman. The film opened in the US during the summer of 2023, but it played on only a limited number of screens, leading to it grossing less than $1 million at the box office. It recently premiered on Prime Video<\/a> globally, where the film has quietly become one of the top 10 most-watched films on the platform. In America, it\u2019s also streaming for all Hulu<\/a> subscribers, and the streamer has not announced any plans for it to leave the platform anytime soon. The film is the perfect watch for Reacher<\/a> fans.<\/p>\n

What Else Is Streaming on Prime Video Right Now Globally?<\/p>\n

There are only three movies more popular than MR-9: Do or Die on Prime Video right now. The biggest hit for the streamer is The Wrecking Crew<\/a>, the Hawaii-set crime thriller starring Jason Momoa<\/a> and Dave Bautista<\/a>. Roofman<\/a>, the 2025 crime thriller based on a true story, is also one of the biggest hits on Prime Video right now. The film stars Channing Tatum<\/a> and Kirsten Dunst<\/a> opposite Peter Dinklage<\/a>. The Smashing Machine<\/a>, Dwayne Johnson<\/a>\u2019s Oscar-bait that flopped at the box office, has also found streaming redemption on Prime Video over the last few days.<\/p>\n
