\n\tOh, boy. Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> is locked in to make her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live<\/a>, and she says the show has no idea what\u2019s coming for it.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer was announced<\/a> as one of SNL\u2018s next guest stars on Thursday (Sept. 18), with NBC revealing that she will pull double duty as both the host and musical guest of its Oct. 18 episode. Bad Bunny and Amy Poehler will also host episodes at the beginning of the upcoming season \u2014 which kicks off Oct. 4 \u2014 while Doja Cat and Role Model will serve as the first two musical guests.<\/p>\n

\n\tShortly after the news was unveiled, Carpenter shared it on her Instagram<\/a> and wrote, \u201cthey\u2019re gonna regret this.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Grammy winner\u2019s hosting debut has been a long time coming. She first appeared on the show in May 2024 to perform her breakthrough single \u201cEspresso,\u201d a few months after which she joined in on SNL\u2018s 50th-anniversary festivities<\/a> to perform \u201cHomeward Bound\u201d with Paul Simon and star alongside Pedro Pascal in a hilarious \u201cDomingo\u201d sketch.<\/p>\n

\n\tNow, Carpenter will return to 30 Rock with a brand-new album under her belt, with Man\u2019s Best Friend dropping in August. Featuring Billboard Hot 100<\/a>-topping lead single \u201cManchild,\u201d the project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200<\/a>, marking Carpenter\u2019s second album to do so.<\/p>\n
