5 things you need to know about Princess Beatrice and Eugenie as they’re ‘banned’ from royal events

Both sisters prioritise their roles as mothers to two children each. Princess Beatrice is a proud mum to Sienna and Athena, while Princess Eugenie has her two sons, August and Ernest. The sisters are both happily married and live with their husbands and children, with Beatrice splitting her time between London and the Cotswolds, and Eugenie splitting her time between London and Portugal.
Princess Beatrice has a strong work ethic and was confirmed to be a director and major shareholder of Purpose Economy Intelligence Ltd last year. The company is a newly established company listed at Companies House, with its purpose spanning “business and domestic software development”, other information technology service activities”, and “management consultancy activities”.
As well as working for a living, Beatrice is a dedicated patron for dyslexia charities, often describing the condition as a “gift” rather than a diagnosis. She has also recently been involved in charity work surrounding premature births. Eugenie also does her fair share of charity work, including a significant mentoring role within The King’s Foundation. The princess has also supported charities and organisations related to scoliosis, a condition she was treated for at age 12.
Princess Eugenie, like her sister, also works for a living and has a successful career in the art world as a director at Hauser & Wirth. Speaking about her job in the past, Princess Eugenie told The Telegraph that people are “surprised” to learn she works full-time. She said: “I’ve loved art since I was very little. I knew I definitely wouldn’t be a painter, but I knew this was the industry for me.”
Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie have reportedly been excluded from this year’s Royal Ascot and the official royal procession. The decision follows efforts to distance the monarchy from the House of York’s ties to the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. Sources claim Beatrice feels “completely blindsided” and has taken the sudden exclusion from the high-profile public event particularly hard.

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are not working royals (Image: Chris Jackson/Getty Images) 5 things you need to…

[8
156,111,139,69,77025,169242,111171,111170
post-310722","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-entertainment","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-princess-beatrice","tag-princess-beatrice-eugenie-life","tag-princess-beatrice-eugenie-royal-family","tag-princess-beatrice-princess-eugenie
["GET
