Photo \/ NZME<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">More than 850 homes are without power after a  car crashed into a power pole north of Whang\u0101rei this afternoon. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">An update on Northpower\u2019s website stated 861 customers in Te Kamo and Kauri had no power. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\">\n         \u201cWe will not have an estimated time of restoration until the<br \/>\n         work required has been assessed,\u201d the update said.\n        <\/p>\n<p class=\"NxxoOInEdsczGtg\" style=\"display:none\">Power was interrupted just after 4pm.
