Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has quit her radio show as she revealed she can no longer work with co-host Kyle Sandilands.<\/p>\n

The Kyle and Jackie O Show has been taken off air effective immediately following Henderson’s departure and as a result of Sandilands’ behaviour.<\/p>\n

Henderson, 51, took a leave of absence last week<\/a>\u00a0after an on-air bust-up with co-host Sandilands, 54, after he accused her of not being focused at work.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The radio star\u00a0broke down in tears during the show on Friday, February 20,<\/a>\u00a0and has not been on the airways since.<\/p>\n

An announcement by ARN Media released on Tuesday confirmed Henderson has given notice that she “cannot continue to work with” Sandilands.<\/p>\n

Henderson will no longer present the popular KIIS FM show, but has been offered the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The statement also revealed the network considers Sandilands behaviour during the February 20 broadcast “an act of serious misconduct” and in breach of his contract with the network.<\/p>\n

Sandilands have been given 14 days to remedy this breach and will not host The Kyle and Jackie O Show during this time.<\/p>\n

The pair had recently signed the biggest radio deal in Australian history, a 10-year, $200 million contract with ARN.<\/p>\n

It comes after Henderson was due to return to KIIS FM on Monday, but\u00a0Sandilands announced his co-host would be missing for another week.<\/a><\/p>\n

He later teased listeners during Tuesday’s show that Henderson would be returning imminently.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did get some good news though yesterday,\u201d the shock jock said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnything that’s got my name on it, I have to sign off on it, so I signed off yesterday on some sort of statement coming from Jackie\u2019s camp.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe only thing I noticed is that Jackie will be returning in the future. So, that\u2019s a good sign. So, the intention is to come back which is fabulous.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sandilands previously expressed his regret at the row in which Henderson broke down in tears after being lambasted over an apparent “fixation” with astrology.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“I obviously upset her. Maybe, in hindsight, I shouldn’t have said it on the air. But we say a lot of things on the air here,” he said last week.<\/p>\n

“It was never meant to hurt her feelings and obviously it did. I regret hurting her feelings. No one wants to hurt someone. Especially someone you care for.<\/p>\n

“I don’t really know. The show is just ploughing ahead anyway. I’m just leaving this up to management.”<\/p>\n

During the on-air bust-up, Sandilands hit out at his co-host accusing her of letting her passionate interest in astrology affect her work.<\/p>\n

“It’s affecting other things, like your fixation on this has made you almost unworkable. You’re off with the fairies with this s***. It’s mental,” he raged.<\/p>\n

Sandilands claimed that “everyone in the building” had complained about her for “not doing the rest of the job”.<\/p>\n

“I would never say things like that about you,” Henderson hit back as she broke down in tears.<\/p>\n

“It’s a total attack, it really is \u2026 to say, ‘You don’t know what the F is going on, you’re not doing your job’, that’s an attack and I wouldn’t do that.”<\/p>\n
