Adolescence star Stephen Graham has called out Hollywood actors for an unacceptable habit.<\/p>\n

Graham<\/a> has been a longstanding presence in TV and Film<\/a>, previously being best known for Snatch and This is England.<\/p>\n

In the last few years though Graham has taken a step up to become a worldwide household name, in part due to his appearance in The Irishman but mostly due to his role in Netflix\u2019s massively successful TV series Adolescence<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the Scouse actor also appearing in the upcoming Peaky Blinders<\/a> film The Immortal Man he has opened up about something other actors will often do which he hates.<\/p>\n

Appearing on a SAG-AFTRA Foundation Panel in LA following this weekend\u2019s Actors Awards he said: \u201cThere is a lot of actors that aren\u2019t on time. That\u2019s exceptionally disrespectful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Graham went on to add: \u201cTo leave a crew, that have been there well before you and will leave well after you, waiting around because you are some Lord and Saviour and the goose that lays the golden egg is disgusting\u2026it’s just not cricket.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor, who is of Jamaican descent, is not the first high profile name to speak out about trends of actors showing up incredibly late to work.<\/p>\n

Whilst its generally considered pretty unacceptable in other jobs to show up multiple hours late, it happens more than you\u2019d expect on some Hollywood sets.<\/p>\n

Liam Neeson spoke out about this late last year, saying in an interview with <\/a>Rolling Stone: \u201cI hear disturbing stories about actors and actresses who are very gifted, but show up on the set two, three, four hours late.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would never work with those people. I think it\u2019s so insulting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Neeson went on to add why this is specifically important on film sets, pointing out that \u2018you have a crew of like 60, 70, 80 people waiting for you\u2019.<\/p>\n

He finally said: \u201cThe very least you can do is give them the respect by turning up on time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Graham spoke to<\/a> DEADLINE about the possibility of a second season of Adolescence after recently winning a Golden Globe for his performance.<\/p>\n

\"GrahamGraham and co-star Owen Cooper have both won numerous awards for the show (Netflix)<\/p>\n

Reports have previously confirmed that Netflix is exploring a second instalment of the show, though it is widely expected to focus on a different set of characters fitting into the socially conscious one-shot episodes format if it does happen.<\/p>\n

He said: \u201cWhen asked about this after I cannot answer that question because it\u2019s somewhere in the deep recesses of my mind and [co-creator Jack Thorne\u2019s] mind, and we\u2019ll pull it out in three or four years, so stay tuned.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jack Thorne however clarified these comments, adding whilst laughing: \u201c”I love Stephen Graham, but sometimes\u2026 What I can tell you is, we don’t know what that is so, maybe.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen he said it, I think he said ‘the dark recesses of our brains’. Yeah, but they are still in the dark recesses of our brains. There is no story where they’re like, ‘Oh yeah’.\u201d<\/p>\n
