Photo \/ @chlo_the_flo<\/p>\n<p class=\"NxxoOInEdsczGtg\" style=\"display:none\">Covell was 14 when she placed eighth in the women\u2019s street skateboarding event at the Paris Olympics, qualifying for the finals in fourth place after impressing judges in the early rounds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"NxxoOInEdsczGtg\" style=\"display:none\">She was unable to replicate that form in the final, failing to land several technically ambitious tricks, reports news.com.au.<\/p>\n<p class=\"NxxoOInEdsczGtg\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cI tried my best. You know, I just couldn\u2019t land much,\u201d she said through tears in a post-match interview.<\/p>\n<p class=\"NxxoOInEdsczGtg\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cI wanted to keep trying and not give up.
