Medtronic today announced a multi-year renewal and significant expansion of its global strategic alliance with GE HealthCare across Patient Care Solutions. Building on over three decades of healthcare technology collaboration, this global agreement expansion is intended to accelerate clinical and technology innovation and enable healthcare providers to deliver smart, safe, and efficient care across hospital environments.<\/p>\n
The longstanding alliance is also taking aim at future innovations, with a plan to adopt next-generation Medtronic technologies across GE HealthCare\u2019s Patient Care Solutions platforms, including expansion into wireless wearable solutions and anesthesia airway visualization.<\/p>\n

Key to the collaboration is the broad integration of clinically advanced monitoring parameters from Medtronic \u2014 Nellcor\u2122 pulse oximetry, Microstream\u2122 capnography, INVOS\u2122 regional oximetry, and BIS\u2122 brain monitoring \u2014 across all of GE HealthCare\u2019s Monitoring Solutions platforms and including Maternal-Infant Care. This technology collaboration extends to GE HealthCare\u2019s FlexAcuity\u2122 platforms, CARESCAPE Canvas\u2122 and Carevance\u2122 monitors. These integrations support patient-adaptable monitoring and enable efficient patient care that allow clinicians to tailor treatments to individual patient needs and care settings.<\/p>\n
