A Gisborne woman did not find out she had won $1 million with Lotto First Division in last week\u2019s Wednesday draw until she checked her ticket on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\n The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, said she had heard someone in Gisborne had won a big prize, but she \u201cdidn\u2019t
\n think too much about it\u201d.\n <\/p>\n

She decided to check her ticket on Sunday night while she was on her phone.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know what prompted me to check my ticket. I don\u2019t buy one for every draw, so I usually just check when I remember,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I saw what I\u2019d won I shouted, \u2018holy heck!\u2019.
