Public health officials in Alberta are warning the public about a possible measles exposure at two Edmonton hospitals.<\/p>\n
The province says anyone who was at the University of Alberta Hospital and Stollery Children\u2019s Hospital on Feb. 25 and 28 may have been exposed.<\/p>\n
Those at risk of developing measles are people born in or after 1970, who have fewer than two documented doses of measles-containing vaccines, or have never had measles before.<\/p>\n
They are asked to monitor for symptoms like fever, cough, runny nose, red eyes, or a rash that appears three to seven days after fever starts. Anyone with symptoms is asked to stay home and call the measles hotline at 1-844-944-3434.<\/p>\n
