\n\tNetflix<\/a> has renewed The Night Agent<\/a> for a fourth season, the streamer announced on Friday. This one will shoot in Los Angeles; season three was filmed in New York City and Istanbul, Turkey. <\/p>\n \n\tSeries star Gabriel Basso<\/a> and its creator\/showrunner Shawn Ryan<\/a> have all sorts of stamps in their passports.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cIt\u2019s been a wild ride filming The Night Agent in five countries across three continents to this point and we\u2019re so thrilled that the adventures of Peter Sutherland (Basso)<\/a> will continue into season four,\u201d Ryan said in a statement. \u201cOur writers, our cast and our crew stand ready to answer the call to bring our incredible fans even more twists, turns and thrills.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe Night Agent season three<\/a> just released a few weeks ago. So far, so good. The third season is currently Netflix\u2019s number two show, behind only Bridgerton season four. The Feb. 19 return has also brought back seasons one and two of The Night Agent to Netflix\u2019s weekly top 10.<\/p>\n \n\tIn the \u201cAll Time\u201d rankings, The Night Agent is Netflix\u2019s 10th-most-watched English-language series.<\/p>\n \n\tThe season-four renewal comes as no shock here. Last month, Ryan told<\/a> The Hollywood Reporter he was \u201cactively working\u201d on a fourth season while awaiting the official green light from Netflix.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWe\u2019re not officially picked up yet, but we\u2019ve been actively working on the writers room. So I just want to be super clear that there\u2019s no news to report on that front,\u201d Ryan said. \u201cWe are just focused on the creative, and when the time comes for Netflix to pick up, they\u2019ll let you guys know.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tWell, recruits, they\u2019ve let us know.<\/p>\n \n\tIn addition to Ryan, Marney Hochman executive produces The Night Agent with MiddKid Productions.
