But Latz <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.senate.mn\/working_group\/2025-2026\/1605_Senate_Gun_Violence_Prevention_Working_Group\/Latz_ERPO-Awareness-Campaign-bill-language-draft.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">has also floated a bill<\/a> that would fund a public awareness campaign for the state\u2019s red flag law, he said, \u201cto make sure as many people as possible know that this is available.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">It\u2019s unclear if that will garner any Republican votes. But there is some consensus forming on the mental health side. <\/p>\n<p class=\"rt-Text\">Rep. Joe Schomacker, R-Luverne, and Rep.
