The Van Der Beek family live on a 14ha farm just outside of Austin, Texas. After James died, the family’s friends set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to support them.

This resulted in some controversy after Realtor.com revealed the family purchased the sprawling ranch for $7.9 million one month before his death.

The fundraiser went on to raise $4.7m, which some online found excessive.

It was later pointed out that the house was bought with a loan with the help of their friends.

Kimberly Van Der Beek’s tribute did not mention the fundraiser but focused on her late husband.

“Baby, you were the best humanity had to offer. This is a loss I don’t know how to process. I will love you forever,” she said alongside a picture of the whole family together.

Kimberly Van Der Beek shared more than 70 behind-the-scenes posts on Instagram giving the world a glimpse into…

[8
123311,3376,95,34690,158276,6325,14032,34689,156,71,10109,14054,4507,6096,111,139,69,2730,2122,3168,165,61,20838,11427,33016,102
post-320056","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-9yearold","tag-actor","tag-and","tag-beek","tag-beeks","tag-birthday","tag-daughter","tag-der","tag-entertainment","tag-from","tag-husband","tag-james","tag-late","tag-message","tag-new-zealand","tag-newzealand","tag-nz","tag-personal","tag-share","tag-shared","tag-their","tag-to","tag-tribute","tag-van","tag-widow","tag-with
["GET
