\n\tBlue Ivy Carter<\/a> has proved that she\u2019s a gifted performer just by joining mom Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> on stage every night on the Cowboy Carter Tour. But does she ever want to release music of her own?<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with People<\/a> published Friday (Sept. 19), Tina Knowles shared her thoughts on whether her granddaughter may do just that. \u201cShe can do so many things,\u201d she told the publication of Blue.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShe can paint, she writes poetry,\u201d Knowles continued. \u201cAnything she puts her mind to do, she\u2019s good at. So I don\u2019t know what she\u2019s going to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThough the designer thinks her firstborn grandchild would \u201ckill it\u201d if she set her mind to music, Knowles isn\u2019t sure it\u2019s Blue\u2019s path. \u201cI think she would be great at music,\u201d the businesswoman added. \u201cBut I don\u2019t think that that\u2019s her passion.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThat said, Blue already has several musical accolades under her belt if she ever does decide to pursue music. In 2021, she became the second-youngest person to ever win a Grammy at just nine years old, taking home best music video alongside Bey for the \u201cBrown Skin Girl\u201d music video. The now-13-year-old was also featured on her mom\u2019s 2014 track \u201cBlue.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tAs Knowles pointed out, however, Blue is multitalented. The eldest daughter of Bey and Jay-Z voiced the character of Kiara in Mufasa, and she\u2019s established her dancing chops by joining her superstar mother on stage during the Cowboy Carter trek. Each night, Blue dazzled the crowd by flawlessly nailing Bey\u2019s iconic \u201cDeja Vu\u201d choreography.<\/p>\n

\n\tBlue also danced on Bey\u2019s Renaissance Tour in 2023 \u2014 but not without convincing her mom that she was absolutely ready for the responsibility. \u201cShe told me she was ready to perform, and I told her no,\u201d Bey told<\/a> The New York Times that year.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShe\u2019s having the time of her life, and I couldn\u2019t be more proud of her because she really worked hard,\u201d Knowles told People of her oldest granddaughter amid the Renaissance Tour. \u201cShe is 11 years old, and she had one week to prepare, and she\u2019s just getting better and better. So I\u2019m the proud grandma, always.\u201d<\/p>\n
