The season 28 coaches performed their rendition of the Steve Miller Band track in front of a lively audience for their annual coaches\u2019 performance<\/p>\n
\n\tThe Voice<\/a> Season 28 is almost here, but before a new slate of hopeful contestants tries their luck on the singing competition series, the show\u2019s coaches are getting the stage warmed up for them. For the annual coaches\u2019 performance, returning coaches Niall Horan<\/a>, Reba McEntire<\/a>, Michael Bubl\u00e9, and Snoop Dogg<\/a> performed their rendition of Steve Miller Band\u2019s \u201cThe Joker.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe four musicians traded off on each lyric of the first verse. \u201cSome people call me the space cowgirl,\u201d Reba kicked off, with Snoop Dogg coming in with \u201cSome call me the gangster of love.\u201d Bubl\u00e9 continued, \u201cSome people call me Maurice,\u201d and Horan brought it home, \u201c\u2018Cause I speak of the pompatus of love.\u201d The coaches kept the performance light and lively. When McEntire sang \u201cYou\u2019re the cutest thing that I ever did see,\u201d Horan leaned in and quipped, \u201cWho me?\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tThe Voice will return on Sept. 22 with its first round of blind auditions. Bubl\u00e9 is back for his third consecutive season and is the only holdover coach from Season 27. Horan last appeared on Season 24 after winning his debut season the year prior. Snoop Dogg and McEntire both coached during Season 26, which saw a victory for Bubl\u00e9.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI have to feel it,\u201d McEntire recently said<\/a> about her coaching style during the blinds. \u201cIt\u2019s not specifically if they can do the best runs or if they\u2019ve got the highest note only dogs can hear\u2026But if I feel it, I mean\u2026 there\u2019s a couple that I\u2019d look over at these guys and they go, \u2018What?\u2019 and I don\u2019t know why I turn, but I did.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\tTrending Stories<\/p>\n
