A year after coming out and debuting a new relationship, Anna Camp<\/a> is discussing her journey to identifying as bisexual.<\/p>\n

“As a 43-year-old woman, I am very proud of myself for owning my sexuality at this age,\u201d the Scream 7 actress shared on the upcoming episode<\/a> of I’ve Never Said This Before With Tommy DiDario<\/a>. \u201cI am a very strong person for doing it in somewhat of a spotlight with people criticizing and judging and making assumptions. I’m really proud to be bisexual.”<\/p>\n

Camp further opened up about navigating \u201ca major evolution in my 40s and not being afraid of it.”<\/p>\n

“There are times I feel like I am taking a risk and this is scary and I\u2019m doing it in a public forum,” she admitted. “But to say, \u2018No, I only get one life, and I want to be happy,\u2019 that\u2019s what life is all about.”<\/p>\n

Camp was previously married to actor Michael Mosley from 2010 to 2013 and fellow Pitch Perfect alum Skylar Astin from 2016 to 2019. But Camp then went red carpet official<\/a> at last year’s Bride Hard premiere with girlfriend Jade Whipkey, an actress and on-set stylist.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou think you’ve got this idea of who you are and that’s how your life is going to go,\u201d Camp reflected on I’ve Never Said This Before. \u201cAnd that’s happened to me several times in my life, where I thought that I knew what was happening. And it could have stopped in that way. I could have settled. I could have said, no, I’m done evolving.\u201d<\/p>\n

Camp previously spoke on how “supportive”<\/a> her Pitch Perfect and Bride Hard costar Rebel Wilson was of her coming out.<\/p>\n

“There is such a strong community that I\u2019ve now just recently been discovering, and I just feel so welcomed,” she said<\/a>. “I\u2019ve been going through my own transformational time in my life, and I\u2019ve just been so lucky to have friends who I can ask questions to.”<\/p>\n
