(Image credit: SpaceX)<\/p>\n<p>Previous Booster 1085 missions<\/p>\n<p><a id=\"elk-seasonal\" class=\"paywall\" aria-hidden=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"3636f651-cc1a-4f73-b178-aa8ef91b635f-0\">The Falcon 9&#8217;s upper stage, meanwhile, continued carrying EchoStar XXV to distant geosynchronous transfer orbit, where the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SpaceX\/status\/2031232661184811428\" target=\"_blank\" data-url=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SpaceX\/status\/2031232661184811428\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" rel=\"nofollow\">satellite was deployed<\/a> on schedule 35 minutes after liftoff.<\/p>\n<p>EchoStar XXV will make its own way to <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/29222-geosynchronous-orbit.html\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/29222-geosynchronous-orbit.html\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/29222-geosynchronous-orbit.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">geostationary orbit,<\/a> a circular path 22,236 miles (35,786 kilometers) above Earth. After a series of checkouts, the satellite will start beaming TV signals down for customers of the Dish Network, a subsidiary of Colorado-based EchoStar.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday&#8217;s launch was a relative rarity for SpaceX these days \u2014 a mission that wasn&#8217;t devoted to building out the company&#8217;s giant <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/spacex-starlink-satellites.html\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/spacex-starlink-satellites.html\" data-hl-processed=\"none\" data-mrf-recirculation=\"inline-link\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.space.com\/spacex-starlink-satellites.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Starlink<\/a> broadband megaconstellation.
