The No Doubt singer told him: \u201cI\u2019m sorry, your mommy is too old to have a baby.\u201d<\/p>\n
She recalled: \u201cIt was like, four weeks later, and I was pregnant with Apollo. I had him at 44 years old, naturally.\u201d<\/p>\n
Gwen \u2013 who has sons Kingston, Zuma, 17, and Apollo, 12 with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale \u2013 described becoming a mother for a third time as a \u201cfull-on gift\u201d and \u201cthe first miracle\u201d.<\/p>\n
She felt under pressure at the time because she didn\u2019t think she understood Christianity enough.<\/p>\n
She added: \u201cIt\u2019s almost scary because the more you know, the more fear you get. You realise, \u2018Oh my gosh, I\u2019m running out of time and I need to get this together. I\u2019ve got to be a real Christian! I\u2019m not gonna make it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
She and Rossdale married in a Catholic church in 2002 before getting divorced 14 years later, while their marriage was reportedly annulled in 2021, the same year she married Blake Shelton.<\/p>\n
Back in January, the 49-year-old country singer dismissed speculation the couple are heading for divorce.<\/p>\n
He told Country Countdown USA: \u201cStarting in October, I think, or maybe November, I started noticing these articles popping up about \u2018Blake and Gwen, they\u2019re split up.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201c\u2018They\u2019re not even seeing each other anymore, they\u2019re going through a divorce.\u2019 And then, you know, a week later a picture comes out of us walking out of the grocery store: \u2018Oh, they\u2019re back together again!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
