Last night, Tory Burch and Architectural Digest\u2019s global editorial director, Amy Astley<\/a>, welcomed friends and creatives to the Tory Burch boutique in downtown New York to toast the launch of AD\u2019s new book, AD at Home. Published by Rizzoli, the book spotlights residences selected from Astley\u2019s near decade at the helm of AD, celebrating the personality-filled private worlds of designers, architects, actors, artists, and others\u2014including the impeccably tailored Southampton home of Burch herself, who Astley called one of her biggest style inspirations. \u201cI find it amazing how you bring together people from all over the world, in so many different kinds of styles, and literally the only common thread is your exceptional eye,\u201d Burch said in her toast to Astley. \u201cThere is no one who understands the nuances of personal style and how it intersects with design like you do. It\u2019s such a flex to be in AD!\u201d<\/p>\n

Those in attendance included Jordan Roth<\/a>, Richie Jackson, Chloe Malle<\/a>, Aerin Lauder<\/a>, Rizzoli publisher Charles Miers, Cond\u00e9 Nast CEO Roger Lynch, Oliver Freundlich<\/a>, Huma Abedin, Colin King<\/a>, Sarah Hoover, Carlos Mota<\/a>, Jamie Tisch, Amanda Brooks<\/a>, Robert Stilin<\/a>, Julie Hillman, Kelly Behun<\/a>, Derek Blasberg, Monique Gibson, and Stephen Sills<\/a>. Guests mingled over cocktails served in the garden, their garnishes echoing the book cover\u2019s pink-and-burgundy palette, while a dessert table inside carried the theme through, complete with a cake bearing the book\u2019s cover.
