It was from influencer chef Chelsea Winter\u2019s Instagram Stories, which described her morning routine. It was so relatable that about 150 mothers sent it to me,\u201d the column began. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cI don\u2019t really know Chelsea Winter beyond the fact that we share a publisher, Penguin Random House, and that one of her cookbooks has probably outsold all three of my books combined. I\u2019ve never needed one either because I have a child who wakes at dawn,\u201d continued the column.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cInstead of a sunrise clock, which creates a \u2018soothing sunrise simulation\u2019 I relied on my children. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cUnfortunately, my sunrise simulation started at midnight. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cMy son\u2019s blood glucose alarm went off. I treated the high and went back to bed. It went off again. I corrected it again. Then he went low, so I gave him juice and waited beside his bed. I am going to [redacted] your [redacted] on your [redacted] with your [redacted].<\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cTime for breakfast: one single egg. I eat the egg. I am still hungry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">The column ended, \u201cI\u2019m too tired to write a note for my water tonight, but I already know my intentions for tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cThey\u2019re the same as every day.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cI\u2019m just going to try to do my best.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cMy best isn\u2019t influencer-perfect.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">\u201cBut it\u2019s good enough.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"dmpeAfkwcv\" style=\"display:none\">In a statement to the Herald,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/lifestyle\/unpacking-celebrity-chef-and-cookbook-author-chelsea-winters-10k-a-head-wellness-retreat\/KPPMMF6JGZAFZNUQ4VUZIQPU6A\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/lifestyle\/unpacking-celebrity-chef-and-cookbook-author-chelsea-winters-10k-a-head-wellness-retreat\/KPPMMF6JGZAFZNUQ4VUZIQPU6A\/\"> Winter said<\/a> she has not read Writes\u2019 column, because \u201csomething like this just isn\u2019t where my energy is meant to go.
