\u201cI have admired [Meghan] and what she has endured … and how she has demonstrated how a woman can be pushed down and she can still rise\u201d, event organiser and Her Best Life podcast host Gemma O\u2019Neill said.<\/p>\n

O\u2019Neill revealed that she and Markle share a mutual friend who connected them at Markle\u2019s request.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the latest episode of her podcast, O\u2019Neill said she initially considered turning down the chance to interview Markle \u201cbecause I felt like I didn\u2019t deserve this\u201d, but came around after \u201ca lot of reflection\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s doing it because she really loves what our community is about, which is women trying to grow, try to be their best selves and trying to help other women.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Independent reported the Duke and Duchess will travel down under mid-next month to \u201ctake part in a number of private, business and philanthropic engagements\u201d.<\/p>\n

Their children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, are unlikely to join them.<\/p>\n

The announcement comes only days after Markle said she was parting ways with Netflix<\/a> and assuming full control of her homewares brand, As Ever.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs it was always intended, Meghan will continue growing the brand and take it into its next chapter independently, and we look forward to celebrating how she continues to bring joy to households around the world\u201d, a Netflix spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

Markle and Harry signed a reported US$150 million ($242.5m) deal with the streaming platform in 2020.<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s first offering, the documentary Harry and Meghan became one of Netflix\u2019s most-viewed documentaries.<\/p>\n

However, Markle\u2019s docu-reality offering With Love, Meghan, widely panned by critics<\/a>, was cancelled after only two seasons. <\/p>\n
