Fans\u2019 comments about Paige Spiranac\u2019s body have made for some uncomfortable moments for the golf influencer over the years, but she admitted on Thursday there\u2019s at least one remark that\u2019s brought her some joy.<\/p>\n

In a post on her X page, Spiranac revealed a man has left the same \u201cgreat cans\u201d statement on all of her social media posts \u201cfor years,\u201d and the remarkable consistency has seriously impressed her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is this guy who comments \u2018great cans\u2019 on everything I post,\u201d she wrote. \u201cIn a world full of hate and despair, I know he will always be there for me to lift my spirits.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spiranac then shared a screen shot of her Instagram direct messages, and sure enough, on three separate occasions over the last couple days, the fan was in her inbox.<\/p>\n

Of course, Spiranac, who boasts four million followers on Instagram, hasn\u2019t always had the best relationship with her social media followers, The New York Post <\/a>reports. <\/p>\n

In addition to dealing with body-shaming comments, she said late last year some left death threats after she was at the centre of a cheating controversy during the Internet Invitational.<\/p>\n

Spiranac actually said earlier this month she recently took a break from social media <\/a>because of the anxiety she got from living so firmly in the public eye.<\/p>\n

Seems, though, she\u2019s back on it \u2014 and finding even the smallest ways to have it impact her positively.<\/p>\n

During a fan Q&A on her Instagram Story last month, Spiranac explained that she\u2019s been dealing with anxiety for some time and \u201coverthinking everything,\u201d resulting in her being absent online.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am in a bit of a funk, a rut if you will, and its not like a one or two day thing,\u201d Spiranac said. \u201cThis has been going on for a little bit. I feel like I\u2019ve just been so in my head about everything and I\u2019m just trying to work through it. I think that\u2019s why I haven\u2019t been posting as much because I am just overthinking everything and I just feel like my anxiety has taken control.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m trying to push myself outside of that and post more and get back to what I was doing before. I feel like I haven\u2019t been active because I\u2019ve just been in my own head, in this kind of funky rut and we\u2019re working through it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spiranac said she has also taken a break from playing golf as she deals with these issues.<\/p>\n

Spiranac went on to explain that she feels she is \u201cactually really misunderstood\u201d when asked about the biggest misconception about her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI almost felt bad for myself for such a long time and I was frustrated why people weren\u2019t seeing me in a certain way or seeing me for me,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd then I realised that they\u2019re only seeing what I\u2019m showing.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can sit there and I can complain about it, or I can do something about it. And that\u2019s showing more of myself and my personality.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that I put so many walls up because this job can be draining sometimes and quite soul-sucking. I think I put barriers up to protect myself and started to morph and change into a person that I didn\u2019t really recognise and that I didn\u2019t see as well.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year it\u2019s more about showing and less explaining and trying to defend myself and just being who I am.\u201d<\/p>\n
