Fallon\u2019s followers also left well-wishes as one person commented: \u201cSending you so much love and keeping you and good energy in my thoughts\u201d.<\/p>\n

Fallon and Gervais have been in a long relationship since they first met as students at University College London back in 1982, and moved in together two years later.<\/p>\n
And she credits their strong bond to never wanting \u201cexactly the same thing\u201d in terms of their careers, which meant there was no jealousy even as she started to move up the ranks in TV production before he found success as a comedian.<\/p>\n
Appearing on a January episode of the Second Act podcast, Jane said: \u201cHe was just always really pleased for me because I wasn\u2019t raining on his parade. And I was helping us get out of the [financial] ditch we were in\u201d.<\/p>\n
She added: \u201cWe did want to do totally different things, and also, with what happened to him, it was really helpful what my career had been because he wasn\u2019t entering this alien, glamorous world.<\/p>\n
