It shows us Garmin&#8217;s template for how it&#8217;s going to compete with brands like <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/tag\/apple\" data-auto-tag-linker=\"true\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/tag\/apple\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Apple<\/a> and Samsung, which are pivoting to more personalized health data and coaching.<\/p>\n<p>The <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.anrdoezrs.net\/click-100048248-15427076?sid=ac-us-1261397723052246243&amp;url=https:\/\/www.garmin.com\/en-US\/p\/1613801\/pn\/010-03013-02\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.garmin.com\/en-US\/p\/1613801\/pn\/010-03013-02\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" rel=\"sponsored noopener nofollow\" data-hl-processed=\"hawklinks\" data-placeholder-url=\"https:\/\/www.anrdoezrs.net\/click-100048248-15427076?sid=hawk-custom-tracking&amp;url=https:\/\/www.garmin.com\/en-US\/p\/1613801\/pn\/010-03013-02\" data-google-interstitial=\"false\" data-merchant-name=\"Garmin\" data-merchant-id=\"1271\" data-merchant-network=\"CJ\" data-merchant-url=\"garmin.com\">Venu 4<\/a> itself is similar in style to its predecessor, fairly skinny and light with limited buttons and an AMOLED display surrounded by a metal bezel. It makes the Venu 4 much better as a training guide than the Venu 3 was.<\/p>\n<p>As for what&#8217;s new, the Venu 4 is introducing a Garmin Fitness Coach that creates a workout plan that includes 25 different types of workouts, designed for athletes who do a variety of indoor and gym workouts in addition to outdoor training. You&#8217;ll still need the <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/wearables\/garmin\/garmin-venu-x1-review\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/wearables\/garmin\/garmin-venu-x1-review\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Venu X1<\/a> to get maps and other premium features, however.<\/p>\n<p>Available <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.anrdoezrs.net\/click-100048248-15427076?sid=ac-us-1441997402532845612&amp;url=https:\/\/www.garmin.com\/en-US\/p\/1613801\/pn\/010-03013-02\" data-url=\"https:\/\/www.garmin.com\/en-US\/p\/1613801\/pn\/010-03013-02\" target=\"_blank\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer-when-downgrade\" rel=\"sponsored noopener nofollow\" data-hl-processed=\"hawklinks\" data-placeholder-url=\"https:\/\/www.anrdoezrs.net\/click-100048248-15427076?sid=hawk-custom-tracking&amp;url=https:\/\/www.garmin.com\/en-US\/p\/1613801\/pn\/010-03013-02\" data-google-interstitial=\"false\" data-merchant-name=\"Garmin\" data-merchant-id=\"1271\" data-merchant-network=\"CJ\" data-merchant-url=\"garmin.com\">starting September 22<\/a>, the Garmin Venu 4 41mm and 45mm both start at $549, or $599 with a premium leather band. This makes it $100 more expensive than the Venu 3; we&#8217;ve seen <a data-analytics-id=\"inline-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/wearables\/are-garmin-watches-like-fenix-8-pro-getting-too-expensive\" data-before-rewrite-localise=\"https:\/\/www.androidcentral.com\/wearables\/are-garmin-watches-like-fenix-8-pro-getting-too-expensive\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Garmin prices rising sharply in 2025<\/a>, so we expected this change.
