Harry Styles<\/a> channeled Lord of the Dance in a hilarious St. Patrick\u2019s Day\u2013themed sketch on Saturday Night Live.<\/p>\n

Pulling double duty as both host and musical guest during the late-night comedy show\u2019s March 14 episode, the 32-year-old pop superstar appeared in a pre-recorded bit about a group of male friends who get an unexpected surprise while hitting the club.<\/p>\n

The clip, titled \u201cShe\u2019s an Irish Dancer,\u201d opens with Styles smoothly crooning about partying in the VIP section with some girls who claim they\u2019re dancers. \u201cShe says that she\u2019s a dancer\/ That means she\u2019s a freak,\u201d Styles sings.<\/p>\n

After a bit of flirtation, one of the ladies (played by Chloe Fineman) pulls Styles aside for a private dance, only to reveal that she\u2019s not the kind of dancer he expected. She then calls over her friends and breaks into over-the-top Irish dancing, complete with traditional costumes and headpieces, in full Riverdance-style fashion.<\/p>\n

By the end, Styles has no choice but to \u201cmatch their freak\u201d before the scene cuts to him wearing a puffy, silky white shirt and black headband, proclaiming, \u201cI\u2019m about to go Lord of the Dance up in here.\u201d Against a starry dark blue backdrop, he launches into an elaborate Irish-inspired routine, eventually joined by his friends on a foggy dancefloor.<\/p>\n

The sketch concludes with Styles flashing a wink and wishing viewers a \u201cHappy St. Paddy\u2019s Day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier in the show, Styles reflected on his time away from music during a hilarious opening monologue<\/a> and later performed two tracks<\/a> from his fourth album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally.<\/p>\n
