Jessica Sutta<\/a> is explaining her absence from the Pussycat Dolls<\/a> reunion.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old member of the group and \u201cShow Me\u201d solo superstar issued a statement on her social media after news broke that Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts were continuing on without her and several other members.<\/p>\n

While the existing group explained their current trio lineup<\/a>, Jessica spoke for herself in a new message.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, I want to thank everyone who has reached out with messages of support. I truly appreciate the kindness. I do want to clarify a few things. I was never planning to return under the current circumstances, and unfortunately I\u2019m still unable to dance due to ongoing health issues. Because of that, the recent news was difficult for me,\u201d she began.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen rumors about the three girls began circulating, I did try to reach out privately for several months. I didn\u2019t receive a response until the night before the announcement, which meant I didn\u2019t have much time to prepare for the reaction that followed online. As many of you know, I\u2019ve been grieving the loss of my mom while also dealing with a neurological condition where stress can trigger severe physical pain, so the intensity of the online response has been challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jessica went on: \u201cI found it ironic that the press release suggested we wanted \u2018attention.\u2019 The truth is, I wanted the exact opposite. The stress from situations like this causes real physical flare-ups for me. Do you think I want to be verbally attacked by strangers online? I simply would have appreciated a heads-up earlier so I could process everything privately and handle the situation with a bit more grace and dignity.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat said, I genuinely wish the girls a successful tour and nothing but the best moving forward. I\u2019m grateful for the experiences and memories I had with PCD, and I\u2019ll always hold that chapter of my life close to my heart,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n
