A source close to Urban told New Idea the Somebody Like You singer was left \u201cnumb\u201d after hearing of his daughter\u2019s interview, released on Sunday.<\/p>\n

\u201cKeith doesn\u2019t know what to say, but he\u2019s trying to put on a brave front,\u201d the source said.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe knows he has to be patient, however, this latest snub \u2013 so publicly, there in black and white \u2013 has stumped him.<\/p>\n

News.com.au reported the interview comes days after Kidman opened up for the first time about the shock separation.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I\u2019m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That\u2019s that. Everything else I don\u2019t discuss out of respect,\u201d she told Variety.<\/p>\n

Referring to the events of the past year, the Moulin Rouge actor said: \u201cI was quiet. I had other things going on. I was in my shell.<\/p>\n

A source close to the family disclosed to Page Six that Kidman has not turned the girls against Urban, saying they \u201cmade their own choices\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe girls have always been very close with their mother,\u201d they said, adding the sisters were \u201churt and angry on her behalf\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s some resentment against Keith. If they are blaming someone, it\u2019s him not her.\u201d<\/p>\n

The outlet reported Urban was hopeful he could \u201cpatch things up\u201d with the girls, saying he did not blame Kidman and acknowledged she had not alienated them from him.<\/p>\n

Sunday Rose told Elle Australia the best industry advice she received from her mother was to be punctual.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s always going to be something with an early call time that you don\u2019t want to get up for,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
