\n\tPeacock<\/a> has renewed \u201cNelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together<\/a>\u201d for a second season. Production will begin this month, and the new season is set to air later this year.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe news comes following the first season of the show\u2019s successful June 2025 debut, with the series becoming Peacock\u2019s second highest-reaching unscripted original freshman series. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together,\u201d starring the titular superstar music couple, gives audiences a behind the scenes look at the iconic duo\u2019s high-profile lives. The two, who married in 2023, are now the parents of a toddler, meaning they\u2019ll have to balance their careers and business ventures with navigating their blended family. \u201cThis season offers an intimate look at their next chapter as they navigate love, family and global careers,\u201d reads the official logline.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tNelly and Ashanti first met more than two decades ago when they began dating in 2003. While they quietly broke up and reunited in the time since, as of 2026, the two have solidified themselves as a musical power couple. They welcomed their son, KK, in July 2024.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cHot In Here\u201d rapper first released his debut solo single in 2000, and has gone on to sing hits including \u201cRide Wit Me,\u201d \u201cDilemma\u201d and \u201cJust a Dream.\u201d\u00a0 He\u2019s been nominated for 12 Grammy Awards, and has won three. Ashanti debuted as a solo artist with \u201cFoolish\u201d in 2002, and went on to earn eight Grammy nominations and one win over the course of her career. She also acted in the 2006 rom-com \u201cJohn Tucker Must Die.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
