Luckily for them, their buyers felt the same way.<\/p>\n<p>Bayleys listing agent Gregers Andersen told OneRoof that the new owners had made an offer on the house after just two viewings. He had loved watching almost everyone\u2019s jaw drop when they visited the home in person.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAny sort of push back I had was never on the house itself. Photo \/ Supplied <\/p>\n<p>They first spotted the Myers Street property in a magazine, and Smythe had quipped at the time that she would move to Tauranga if she could have the house.<\/p>\n<p>A few years later, just after they had opened their second Tauranga restaurant \u2013 The Clarence \u2013 the couple were at a BBQ at the Myers Street house. \u201cKim just looked at the owners and said, \u2018What are you doing living in my house?\u2019.\u201d Cimadom told OneRoof.<\/p>\n<p>The house went up for sale a few months later and they snapped it up.<\/p>\n<p>However, with Cimadom splitting his time between Tauranga and Cambridge for work, the couple decided to shift to a lifestyle block in Karapiro.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe had a great five years there.
