The Killers<\/a>\u00a0were joined by\u00a0Arcade Fire<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0Win Butler<\/a>\u00a0for \u2018Rebellion (Lies)\u2019 and \u2018When You Were Young\u2019 at a festival show in\u00a0Colombia.<\/p>\n

Brandon Flowers<\/a>\u00a0and co. played a huge show at Festival\u00a0Est\u00e9reo\u00a0Picnic in\u00a0Bogot\u00e1\u2019s Parque Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar on Saturday night (March 21), and\u00a0welcomed Butler onto the stage during\u00a0their\u00a0encore.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve got a little treat for everyone,\u201d Flowers told the crowd. \u201cOne of our\u00a0favourite\u00a0bands is Arcade Fire. It\u2019s a hell of a thing, you know, when you\u2019re putting records out and you\u2019re starting your band, and you\u2019ve got these other people that are coming out and they have similar influences, and they\u2019re so good and it frustrates you but it also makes you want to be better. Anyway,\u00a0that\u2019s\u00a0what Win Butler does for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Killers had already covered Arcade Fire\u2019s \u2018The Suburbs\u2019 earlier in the show, and with Butler alongside them, they played\u00a0\u2018Rebellion (Lies)\u2019,\u00a0from\u00a02004 debut album \u2018Funeral\u2019, followed by The Killers\u2019 own \u2018When You Were Young\u2019, the\u00a0lead single from their second album \u2018Sam\u2019s Town\u2019 in 2006. The Killers then rounded out the show with \u2018Mr. Brightside\u2019.<\/p>\n

Back in January,\u00a0Flowers played \u2018When You Were Young\u2019 with Dawes at the Concert For Altadena<\/a>, a benefit show in support of victims of last year\u2019s California wildfires. They also played Bruce Springsteen<\/a>\u2019s \u2018The Promised Land\u2019.<\/p>\n

Flowers has also suggested that the eighth Killers album will be released in 2027<\/a>, after\u00a0his next solo album and tour are complete.<\/p>\n

Win Butler, meanwhile,\u00a0announced his split from R\u00e9gine Chassagne in October<\/a>, after 22 years of marriage.<\/p>\n
