AFP has contacted the port authority and Air Canada for comment.<\/p>\n

Flight tracking platform FlightRadar24 said an Air Canada Express plane had \u201ccollided with an airport rescue and firefighting vehicle\u201d while landing.<\/p>\n
The aircraft, a CRJ-900 operated by Jazz Aviation, Air Canada\u2019s regional partner, had departed from Montreal, the platform said.<\/p>\n
It \u201cwas rolling down the runway when it struck\u201d the vehicle as it crossed its path, according to FlightRadar24.<\/p>\n
Unverified social media images showed an Air Canada aircraft with a badly damaged nose and cockpit area apparently on a runway at night, with emergency vehicles nearby.<\/p>\n
New York\u2019s emergency management authority warned people to \u201cexpect cancellations, road closures, traffic delays & emergency personnel\u201d near the major transport hub in the borough of Queens.<\/p>\n
\u201cUse alternate routes,\u201d it said on X.<\/p>\n
All departing flights from LaGuardia had been either delayed or canceled as of early Monday, the airport\u2019s website showed.<\/p>\n
AFP has also contacted the airport and the port authority police department for comment.<\/p>\n
LaGuardia had already been suffering from flight disruptions due to poor weather, the airport said on Sunday on X.<\/p>\n
Passengers were also waiting longer to pass security due to \u201cstaffing impacts\u201d from a federal funding lapse, it said last week.<\/p>\n
